In Memory of Alan Nunnelee (1958-2015)
The Shareholders, Directors, and Staff of Allied Funeral are eternally grateful for the leadership and vision of our co-founder, Alan Nunnelee. We continue to honor his memory by continuing in the traditions of integrity, trust, and loyalty- values that he embodied and maintained throughout his professional and personal life.
In addition to proudly working in the insurance industry for nearly 40 years, Alan served in the Mississippi State Senate from 1994-2010 and later in the United States House of Representatives (MS-1) from 2010 until his death in 2015. Alan was well respected, greatly loved, and is sorely missed.
The Board of Directors of Allied Funeral Associates Insurance Company is elected annually by the shareholders of record and is comprised of the officers of Allied as well as licensed funeral directors, funeral home owners, and business leaders from throughout Mississippi. These individuals are all active in their respective communities and have been an integral part of the growth and success of Allied.
